Committed to working harder for you.
“When I set up Simpson & Partners, I did so with the intention of bringing together the very best local property Sales and Lettings talent to create an Estate Agency service that would set the standard that all others in the area would be judged by. To set up a client-focused service that proved not all estate agents were the same.
Coming from working for a successful national chain of Estate Agents, I soon recognised the strengths and weaknesses of a national chain’s offering. On the positive side there was the marketing network. On the negative, there was a lack of regional focus and true local knowledge. By teaming up with colleagues and career contacts already established in our area, we opened the doors to our first office in Kettering back in 1998. Word soon spread and the market reacted positively to our offering. Shortly afterwards we opened up in Thrapston and just after that in Burton Latimer. The rest, as they say, is history.
Today we have a market-leading, regional network of nine offices that through the years has built a wealth of local knowledge and expertise. For instance, Ian Wood who heads-up our Burton Latimer office, has been there for thirteen years. It’s true to say that no-one knows more about the local marketplace than Ian, making him an invaluable mine of information and perhaps the reason why no other agent can gain a foothold in his area.
Today, Simpsons deliver a full 360° service that includes dedicated Lettings, Financial Services and Conveyancing. This is something that suits the current conditions in the housing market. For a ‘one-stop’ offering empowers our clients, who choose this option, with the ability to act swiftly and confidently, letting them take full advantage of the many deals that are currently available.
Yet while the offering has grown, we have never lost sight of our core principal and that is to go the extra mile for our clients. We may not be the cheapest but we pride ourselves on certainly being the best and through this superior service we return real value to our clients. Swiftly gaining the best price for vendors and matching buyers with the home they desire. Our commitment extends to working the longest hours of any local agent, with offices open seven days a week, till 7pm weekdays. We know the key to success lies in going the extra mile and this shows up in independent Sold board counts where we consistently come in on top.
It was through our market-leading success that we became closely involved with Priors Hall Park. In a groundbreaking appointment, Simpson & Partners were made sole agents for this visionary new development, the largest of its kind in the UK. I cannot begin to explain the incredible foresight and planning that has gone in to this destination development, instead I urge anyone who wants an insight into the future of modern village living to visit here and take a tour. It will be truly enlightening. www.priorshallpark.com
Through our links with BeLa Partnership, Priors Hall Park’s developers, we became involved with the North Northamptonshire Development Company and their ‘North Londonshire’ advertising campaign. It’s a bold statement and one they knew might ruffle a few local feathers. Yet it’s doing a good job on a national level and undoubtedly generating positive interest and bringing people and commercial investment into the area. Our area is now the fastest growing region in the UK and that’s something, in my view, that can only be good. With new developments the likes of Priors Hall Park, we undoubtedly have the living space and with our proximity to road, rail and air links we certainly have the communications infrastructure. New business and people will invigorate the area when they come and breathe our fresh air and enjoy all that North Londonshire has to offer.
As for Simpson & Partners, we remain committed to the future of our business. In the last three years, that have seen the competition struggle, we have added three offices to our network. The first of those in a link up with Mark Weekley, a leading talent in property sales in the Rushden area, and the latest being in Northampton that opened just a few months ago under the expert eye of partner James Potts.
Chris West is still forging ahead in Corby. His team of experts have consistently led the local market since June 2005. Much the same can be said for Aidan Tooms in Thrapston, Jason Treadwell in Kettering and Daniel Wyke in Raunds, while over in Kimbolton, Tim Jackson-Waite continues making good inroads into North Cambridgeshire.
I know I speak for all my partners and their teams, when I say that whether you are looking to Buy, Sell, Let or Rent, Simpson & Partners are committed to proving that not all estate agents are the same.
We hope to speak to you soon.
Andrew Simpson
